Siena seems like a quiet town but there is no question that you can still find a variety of bars and pubs where you meet friends, drink a beer or a glass of wine. Try just strolling and probably you gathering with friends at Piazza del Campo to listen live music, watching performances by improvised entertainers such as fire eaters and clowns, or just you will enjoy of a gelato.

The Palazzo Salimbeni - Siena by night

Siena is a major tourist attraction so its venues has more exciting entertainment and always are available. But as historical and cultural centre Siena tends toward quieter activities in the evenings. The long after-dinner walks are a tradition here and the most of people just strolling around gathering at cafes at night.

Often plazas host live performers in Siena, especially during the summer when there is a music festival of more than thirty concerts held at various public gathering places. Even in winter the concerts are found at small classical or jazz concerts held indoors. Few discos are scattered throughout the city, including Barone Rosso, Il Bombo and Sabroso Disco Dancing. Night pubs open until 2am or later. The Al Cambio caters to a college crowd and often has live rock. Caffe del Corso offers cocktails which features a dance floor. The Dublin Post is also highly recommended for the antipasti it offers with its drinks
